
Clark graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English literature from Miami University in 1994. He graduated from the Oregon School of Massage in 1998. In 2004, he graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. He is nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, as well as being a certified Qigong instructor and Shiatsu practitioner.
He has worked for years as a professional entertainer, bringing laughter to people all over the world with his balloon artwork, juggling, storytelling, and musical abilities. This experience has impressed on him the role that laughter plays in the healing process. While he stays informed of the latest medical information, he also integrates humor and play into his healing work.
He has spent a good deal of time traveling abroad, which has deepened his respect for the diversity in the world and within each individual. He loves working with both Chinese and Western herbs and greatly respects the healing power of plants. His special clinical areas of interest are chronic pain, pediatrics, and immuno-deficiencies.
His strength as a healer lies in his ability to create a comfortable, trusting, healing space for people to understand what ails them. He is able to communicate well, work nicely with all types of people and has a gentle and compassionate nature.
